About Edward
Edward has been with MacLean since 2002. His background is in computers, networking, embedded systems, audio and graphics and he is highly trained in his field. He graduated from Mohawk College in Computer Engineering Technology, with a Gold Medal, Mohawk’s highest award of academic achievement. He is a Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Digital Media Certified Engineer (DMC-E) and Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
Edward has a passion for learning about new technologies and concepts, and finding ways to apply them in our integrated solutions. As MacLean’s Senior System Developer, his primary function is to develop the programming, user interfaces and, occasionally, the custom hardware required to integrate all of the technology in our integrated solutions.
Outside of work, he spends most of his free time doing family activities with his wife, Lori, and their two boys. He enjoys finding ways to integrate technology into their house, as well as woodworking, playing the acoustic guitar and – when time allows – good, old-fashioned video gaming.
